If you don't plan on controlling this unit from your phone most of the time, it's NOT worth the price: RV760 had excellent traffic info, much more accurate and frequent traffic hazard warnings and so on . The RV780 provided absolutely no traffic information, very little road hazards, etc: I believe most of this information could have been gleaned via bluetooth and your cell phone, except what they expect you to do when you're out of range of a cell phone (god, isn't it about going back to nature?) - I even spoke to Garmin before purchasing and they assured me it's the latest and greatest and I really need to update it. I'm now sitting on this - to me - totally useless item, having reverted to an old RV760 LTM. I wish I could return this very expensive bug (too late as I just got back, 3 months after purchase)!
