This table has some fundamental issues. The bolts lack the typical flange on the threaded side, which prevents the bolt from being driven too deep or not deep enough. It's up to you to determine the depth of the screw by eye, which is tedious as the locking nut won't reach the screw if you get a screw wrong. The second problem is the plastic nests built into the chipboard. Particle board has long been the industry standard and that's no problem with this set. Instead, the plastic socket does not play well with more than one screw insert. Therefore, attempting to insert the screw to the desired depth weakens the thread on the socket. After that, what remains is a wobbly piece of furniture. If you bought this and have access to a drill set my advice would be to cut out some spacers and drill your own holes to strengthen the joints. I've seen worse, but it could have been a lot better. In terms of design, this is not only durable, but also a beautiful table that has plenty of space. It only looks like the manufacturer saved on the corners.
