Review on Set of Robust Wooden 🏗️ Building Blocks: Promoting Creativity and Learning by Jun Merritt

Great blocks. They are well made, smooth, with well finished edges. They are big and our 2 year old does very well with them. There's just one problem, somehow there's a negative trade-off for a smooth painted surface - they're so smooth these blocks are almost slippery when you try to stack them. They slide and slide over each other which frustrated our 2 year old. He had seizures because the blocks didn't stay where he put them when he laid them. That's how it went with the first attempts. Interestingly, however, once he mastered them, they seemed to help him develop his gross motor skills. Now he's much more subtle and nuanced in his dealings with them. Overall we are very happy with these blocks.
