Not always plug and play
Windows 10 sometimes recognizes it, but half the time I have to download a driver. Large files may take some time. Get ready, not just "plug and play". Says they are backward compatible but I haven't found that to be the case. The only thing that can sometimes be used when some laptops are equipped only with USB and no other, even with a video output.
