Review on PLUSPOE Dimmable Magnetic Transformer Compatible by Peter Bates

I'm a radio amateur and electronics engineer and I don't rate purchased items unless they stand out. I bought this dimmable power supply so I can upgrade the 12v LED lighting I have hung above our kitchen dining island which are dimmable halogen bulbs. The end result is much better than I expected. Now they're dimmed enough that I can leave them on when I go to bed and want the area to be adequately lit for someone in the house coming home late to do so without stumbling to their deaths . And the dimming process is comfortable and smooth, so there are no sudden changes in intensity to startle a person. Very soft! With my HF radios there is no hum and above all no "little bird" or "hiss". I've had this up and running since November 2018, almost a year ago, and it's working really well. The price is also very reasonable. I thought I would have to design and build the power supply myself, but this turned out to be the perfect solution. The ability to use an existing in-wall dimmer makes it a great upgrade. By the way, I had the 50W version. This device was highly praised for its engineering prowess. I think it's a well designed article and that speaks volumes to me who rarely impresses.
