Review on TOTU Upgraded Universal Charging Extended by Shah Jones

I have to admit I had very high expectations for this dock after reading the reviews. I couldn't figure out why in God's name it had two DisplayPort outputs and only one HDMI output, but that'll be covered soon. The setup I wanted was three screens, a dual screen system for my MacBook Pro to be used as a workstation and the third output went to a 4K TV which I use to extend my desktop and display multimedia could. sorted out all the drivers and, more importantly, got the right cables. One of my monitors had both HDMI and DVI inputs but no DisplayPort, another monitor had DisplayPort Native and of course a 4K TV would use HDMI. This setup required the following cables: 1 x DisplayPort to DisplayPort, 1 x DisplayPort to HDMI, 1 x HDMI to HDMI. All together it was showtime and the Totu dock really shone. I have no problem extending my desktop to both monitors plus a 4K HDTV and still get my Macbook Pro Retina display to boot! Don't be fooled by the dual DisplayPort outputs, use them instead and use the right cables to solve your compatibility issues (if you have them). A few years ago a proper installation of this type would have cost thousands, Totu has done an excellent job. put together a quality docking station that does what it's supposed to do. The fit and finish are also excellent, they are definitely well made and this has been one of the best purchases I have made from Revain so far.
