These candles are very cool. I loved the range - you almost always end up with a plug or two that doesn't suit your style so keep them in the box until you get tired of wearing them. It was wonderful. Like I said, I'm very disappointed in these plugs. I loved it so much I immediately put on a pair. Every other day my ears burn and itch. I attribute this to masks and the constant rubbing behind the ears with the straps, but when I took them off at night I saw that the ears were very red, not anywhere but where the plugs were. The next day I disinfected my ears and put on a pair of my old earplugs to test them. I was fine. Two days later I took another pair of new ones, cleaned them with alcohol for a long time and wore them. Same picture, the next day my ears were hot and red. In the end I decided that the reason was the new candles and removed them. I didn't wear plugs during the day to allow my ears to heal and as they healed I could see the hole was irritated and is now peeling off as the irritation dries. I was very angry. I'm not allergic to anything but nickel, and they're all wood and plastic, with maybe a stone or two. I think the shine they put on it did it for me. It sucks. I really wanted to enjoy it!
