Purchased for Halogen Under Car Light; and fixtures above other cabinets to reflect indirect light onto the wall and ceiling. These bulbs were slightly shorter than the bulbs I replaced, but that made no difference. In fact, installing a fixed mount can be beneficial. The pins were accurate so installation was easy. I only used 3 bulbs in a pack of 10 but they still work perfectly and match the existing light color. I bought two packs of 10 bulbs after changing lightbulbs around the house. Shops are expensive. And who knows how long halogen bulbs will be around when consumers switch to LEDs.
