Amazing R/W sequence but random 4k only works at intermediate level

Amazing R/W sequence but random 4k only works at intermediate level Installed in PCIe adapter ( Sintech) . The price of this NVME from SP is the lowest among all other brands that can go over 3000MB/s. I think people categorize those >3000MB/s as high-end NVME like 970, BPX, SX8200, S70, SN750, 760P, etc. while those with 2000MB/s with lower level NVME like P1, EX900 etc. run. Don't get me wrong, all of these higher/lower NVMEs are on my Revain wish list. I read all the reviews to compare. By the way, I ordered the P1 and it's on its way. If P1 can do better in random 4K, I can replace that with SP.UPDATE Apr 17, 2019: After trying decided P1, yes, random 4K is better (10MB/s more). However, the heat of P1 makes me uncomfortable) Standby: SP is only 22 degrees and P1 is already 30+ degrees. Heavy load: The maximum value of SP is about 44 degrees, but P1 reaches the red zone, 58 degrees. All of these temperatures are read from the crystal disk. Both SP and P1 are installed on the same adapter with heatsink (made by Sintech). So in the end I'll stick with SP. The first photo attached earlier reads CDM without BitLocker. The second photo reads the CDM with BitLocker and I can also see the temperature behind it.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
