The design of the chair is not only unnecessarily complicated, it's fundamentally wrong. The rounded back of the seat is believed to be bolted to the neck that connects it to the seat. However, the part that needs to be attached to the back of the seat is straight. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that you can't attach a straight piece to a rounded surface. The amount of tools and effort that would be required to solve this problem alone would be equivalent to building a chair from scratch. If you read the reviews you will see that this is a common chair problem and it is obvious that the manufacturer cares so little about their customers that they have not bothered to fix this problem.
