Regarding the "err2" error message you keep getting on your scale, I looked through the manual and found that this message comes up when the weight capacity is exceeded. The weight capacity of this scale is 350 pounds. I can't tell if the scale is defective or missing, but I can send you a new one to replace it, or I can send you a better, larger-capacity scale for free. I have attached a photo for reference. Which scale would you prefer? Let me know and I will send it to you at our expense. However, I appreciate that he didn't blame the extra weight. He just explained the error code and took the extra step of suggesting a higher capacity scale should that be an issue. That's pretty good customer service.
