Review on ⚙️ Makita 9032 - 8 Inch Variable 4.4 Amp by David Herrera

As another reviewer noted, this tool is great for grinding door latches. I renovate hotels and recently completed a project where I had to replace all the doors and locks in guest rooms (nearly 100 rooms). The old frames were broken and almost all of the latches had to be sanded to some degree for the doors to latch properly. This tool did it very quickly, much better than my old way of doing it. It has more than paid for itself. The supplier that supplied the locks actually installed the lock and he commented that this Makita tool was much better than the Harbor Freight version they used. I think Makita tools are great and I gravitate toward them whenever possible, but after purchasing I found out that Milwaukee makes one with an optional pin replacement that allows for a 3/4" wide strap. Makita makes extra pins that fit 1/4" or 1/2" wide belts. If I had to do it again, I'd probably go with the Milwaukee with the 3/4" belt since it fits the door latches better fits and gets the job done even quicker, however, the Makita is great and I look forward to using it often on future projects.
