Everything I expected from AM [MW. now] / FM radio. It has decent sound quality - Good volume - Excellent reception - Looks "old school" and I am "old school". Bought to replace a 35 year old multi-band portable radio that was being used in my garage [tuner weakened and I lost tuner ability and reception quality]. Having unpacked and installed it I have no complaints about this radio. The batteries will be replaced after almost a full month if left on for almost 10-12 hours a day. Yes, I like listening to the radio in my garage. And if you don't want to run it on batteries, take the AC adapter and run it like this [Panasonic gives you information about the AC adapter just by checking the website or the "User's Guideโ. ' have this information. My biggest and only real complaint is the lack of a light/dial light to refer to when "dialing" your radio in low light conditions. My old man had that luxury. All in all a good radio and I would buy one again at any time.
