Well I think I found a way to install this transom on my boat stably and conveniently but it took a while. And I've been working on this for over 50 years! Also, my solution requires drilling into the window frame, potentially exposing the core in the frame to the weather if the seal isn't working properly (testing the new 3M 4000). There are no instructions in the box to help (I had to go back to the photos on the Revain listing to see which side was up). And a hardware install doesn't make sense for my setup (or, frankly, any other setup I can think of). So make sure you have an adjustment layer that works with it before hitting the button. The only good news I can offer is that it looks pretty well built and very well packaged. Let's see if my assembly idea works. Otherwise back to Revane.
