Does exactly what it promises! This little lamp has a sturdy clip-on base (I clipped it to my windowsill) and a push-button controller on a cord. The gooseneck flexes to any position and stays in place without sagging or wobbling. As advertised, it has three lighting modes and ten levels of brightness that can be easily adjusted using the buttons on the controller. My favorite feature is that the light "remembers" your settings so you don't have to change the brightness or color levels every time you turn it on. by default it is exactly what you set earlier. This is perfect for my use as I mainly use it at night in a dark room (so I have a different light source than my computer screen when I'm working or gaming late) and don't want super bright white light flashing on. every time I press the switch. I've also used it as an additional light source for video conferencing, and the adjustable angle and brightness are perfect for that. Please note that the lamp is USB powered and does not come with a socket adapter. Since I use mine at my computer desk, I just plugged it into one of the USB jacks on my surge protector, but any standard USB adapter should work.
