Review on Get Ultimate Comfort With TomboyX Ultrasoft Modal Tank In Sizes XS-4X by Joshua Beaule

I think I need to accept that TomboyX products, while made exceptionally well and worth their price point, aren’t really cut for me as a curvy person. I had sized up to avoid clinging and riding, an issue I often have with camisoles, and that was the right call — but dang, what an odd fit.I had hoped that wouldn’t be the case with this tank top, a luxurious modal stretch fabric which feels amazing on my sensitive skin. But while it hugs most everything nicely, it’s simultaneously too short in the torso and too long in the straps after negotiating my larger chest. The arm holes sit on a weird place around my armpits, the scoop neck hits at a strange position at my chest, and after a few minutes it can’t decide whether to hang out at my waist or my butt.This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed that TomboyX products aren’t cut with shapes like mine in mind — a pair of compression leggings I really, really like want to obfuscate the curve of my hips in a way I’ve never noticed on other similar garments, and a friend had significant fit issues with a tank bra. When your goal is to tamp down curve in favor of comfort and a desired profile, that’s one thing (and wow, do I love my leggings for those). When your goal is comfort and softness like with this tank, though, I’m not sure what to think, especially knowing that modal will stretch out like so many of viscose’s descendants.It’s really hard to find ethically made, sustainable basics at a good price point, even more so when you’re a person of size, triply so when you’re also disinclined to look femme 24/7. I’m absolutely not saying that TomboyX products are bad! They’re impeccably constructed and the materials are fantastic. But be really sure that they’re going to work for you if your weight distribution isn’t perfectly even and you carry curves which do fall into the pear or hourglass shapes. I would probably come back to them for bottoms and some tops, but I don’t think this cami was made with my shape in mind.
