Just buy it. When my journal arrived and I opened the package it was absolutely perfect. Now, the details. The leather is absolutely perfect. Very sturdy and durable. The leather has an antique look about it. The tree engraved into the leather is engraved to perfection. The string that wraps around the journal is thick and sturdy. That will not be coming unattached unless your in the mood for destroying things lol, the paper is my favorite part! Its thick. It doesn't bleed with the ink pens that I use (uniball 7mm fine point) the paper is thick almost like have one of those sacred books that has this baige color to them. The texture is amazing.
