Much better than the old halogen bulbs!
The old halogen bulbs were hot, used a lot of energy and burned out constantly. After I replaced them all with these, the stair climb accelerated. We know they'll be cooler and cheaper to run in the summer (I feel like I can leave them on all the time for safety and not break)!
