The best device for the money. Great brand, quality and features. A+++

You can't beat this CD player for the money ($60). I ordered this one because I have almost the same model in my truck. I needed it for my car and it's the same unit without the built in HD radio. To be honest, I rarely use this feature in my area. It's very easy to use. The controls are very easy once you play around with the menu a few times. The device looks very clean, which is what I wish for. I wasn't looking for a super flashy machine with 100 colors and dancing lights on the front. It also feels well built as the knobs and button don't feel cheap. Some of the devices that cost twice as much seem really cheap. This device has an RMS power of 20W. This is the actual result, not peak values. Many other devices I've seen here are 14W RMS. The more power, the clearer the device plays without distortion at a given volume. Another great feature is the FRONT and REAR AUX inputs. You can use the rear input and the connector will not protrude from the front. The rear input can also be connected to an optional Bluetooth adapter, sold separately. It also has 1 pair of RCA amplifier outputs. The device beeps when a button is pressed, this feature distracts me, so you can disable it in the menu. You can also turn off the AM radio and rear AUX-in from the menu when you're not using them. That way you also don't switch between them when you click the Source button. There's a 3-band parametric equalizer that's great for tweaking the sound. It has preset modes for the EQ but never liked them. That way I can install my own. There's also a high-pass filter that cuts off low frequencies to avoid distortion. I don't use this feature though, it's just that EQ.JVC is a good brand and I really like my other one. That's why I bought this device. About 10 years ago I had an old JVC setup and it was 10 times the size of the previous one. I will not buy unnamed brands or special offers at a flea market. Some of them are sold here at cheap prices. Saw the same model at a local retailer for $20 more, the Revain is great as always.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
