I was satisfied with the quality. The case fits securely and the foam is strong enough to feel secure. Tilting down the steps a little allows our little fella to see where he's going and loves the feature. It's creative and thoughtful. The /xkirg texture gives it a good grip. We have another ladder with a metal structure and a sagging, slippery fabric cover, and it took me several days to teach our dog to trust it. He picked up this new one with ease and uses it constantly. The steps are the perfect height to reach a standard sofa or ottoman. I was baffled by a complaint about it being difficult to assemble. It's as easy as slipping a pillow into a pillowcase. The seller asks for 24 hours to unpack but mine was ready in an hour. I would give it a bonus sixth star if it was available in greyscale.
