Holds bobbins securely in place
Slots hold bobbins securely and are easy to pull out. Best of all, the thread stays securely in the slot so the loose ends don't fly out of the box. I've dropped the box many times and the coils are intact. Lots of spool slots for my sewing needs. The clasp to open the box is positioned so that you can open it from above with a thumb movement. Whether I open it roughly or gently, the coils remain secure.
