Review on Kids Polarized Sunglasses UV Protection Flexible Rubber Shades With Strap For Boys Girls RBK004 - RIVBOS by Dennis Black

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not drop resistant like photo says.

I really wanted to give a better review for these, but unfortunately, I can't. All 3 of my kids got a pair, and 2/3 have had issues. Although, the lenses popping out of one isn't necessarily an issue, the lense was missing for quite some time, so my 2yo was unable to use his. Then my 6yo only got to wear his glasses 2x. They were on top of his head and as he looked down, they fell off and one of the arms broke off. The plastic of the arm broke at the screw and it can't be fixed. I would have been better off to continue buying dollar store glasses for a dollar. I thought at $10 a pair, the claim of being rubber, flexible, durable, and drop resistant, especially compared to the photo of them being twisted and pulled, I would have expected them to last much longer. Our dollar store ones have never broken from a fall. It's always been the kids (as toddlers) pulling the arms too wide that snap it and break it. If anything, it would have been my 2yo that I would have expected to break them by pulling on them, but the picture shows it can handle it, so I splurged and bought all 3 a pair, instead of just the 4 & 6yo's. The glasses aren't rubbery at all either, I expected a more silicone like material, which probably would have made them more drop resistant. I am really bummed, because I really liked the polarized lenses and my kids loved the colors. I just wish my oldest's glasses hadn't broken when it was a total accident and it was something the listing claims wouldn't happen.

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • The polarized lenses may be too dark for some activities
