Exactly what is advertised - durable! They are thick and very strong, strong enough to be cut with kitchen scissors. I appreciate that the length of the zip ties is impressive and useful for many indoor and outdoor projects. I ordered myself to attach the bed frame to the base of the mattress. Our bed is an old cast iron bed with no slats so I had to add a pad/box spring to the sides to hold the mattress on top. I not only used them to attach the base to the frame, but also to reinforce the metal base to keep it from falling apart. I sleep peacefully knowing these ties can carry so much weight.
