Review on Sensky BS011 12v 24v DC 3A Automatic Cabinet Sensor Switch with IR Sensor for Low Voltage LED Cabinet Light, Strip Light, and Rigid Light Bar by Ronald Lunn

The switch appeared to work when I tested it prior to installation, but after installation when power was applied the indicator flashed for a split second and went out. Switch, as soon as the cable entered one of its ports, the light flashed. I understand it's just a bad connection in the plug. I've been working with electronics for many years, so I decided to just cut off the suspected bad connector and solder on a new one. On a test bench with the plug removed, I connected the switch to my 12V DC desktop power supply and tested it with bare wires. I connected 12VDC to the input and my voltmeter to the output. When current was applied to the switch input, a voltage transient of a fraction of a second was observed at the output of the meter, which then decayed to zero. After all, it wasn't a plug; Switch is defective. Since I cut off the plugs, I can't return it. money down the drain.
