Shoes are definitely at least 1 size too big. Interestingly, the size on the box and the size of the shoes did not match. I specifically asked for a size smaller after reading the reviews. The box was the right size, but the shoes inside were bigger. (See photo.) Back. The quality of the shoes is very good and well made. I would give 5 stars for the quality. Will buy again in the right size. Update: I had to return size 8 twice (I wear 9). The third time I ordered a size 7, knowing that the box might say 7 but the inside might say 8. And so it happened. I don't know if this happened at the factory or at a local facility, but they put a European sticker on the size which is different from the packaging. Peel off the sticker to see the true size. From my 3 attempts, order 2 sizes smaller to get the right size. The shoes are great and that's why I got into all the trouble.
