Ok, Too Many Rules of Use

I've never owned a pizza stone before, but wanted to try making homemade pizza. The pizza stone is super heavy and comes in a big box with foam inserts and comes with a brush and scraper. Make sure you read the instructions - there are a lot of rules for using this! You cannot use soap to clean this, only water and the brush, then you have to immediately dry it for example. The brush is good quality and the scraper is decent as well to scrap pizza dough off the counter. One thing is the directions tell you to pre-heat the oven to 550 degrees - mine only goes to 500, so the cooking time will be lengthened. It's extremely heavy - I did use it for making the pizza and it the bottom of the pizza was pretty crispy. It's good quality, but it's too much of a hassle to use over a metal pizza pan.
