Here's a bigger guy, and I was looking for a belt that wouldn't irritate my gut, hangs over my pants, and doesn't chafe during the day. I actually had to slip on my side as the buckle was still sticking out enough to rub. BUT unlike a leather belt, this belt is very thin and very easy to slip on and stay in place. Otherwise I like the buckle as you can adjust it for the perfect fit. I definitely wouldn't wear it for dressing up, but it's just the thing for everyday wear and the buckle bothers my big belly less than a normal one.
