We loved the Vtech Marble Rush Launchpad so much that we decided to expand it and combine it with this ultimate set. Unlike other fragile brands of marble, they are durable and fun to assemble. With a little adult supervision, our five-year-old girl can build three different levels herself - we started with the simplest designs, but she quickly progressed to the third level (in both sets) in no time. The parts are robust, easy to connect and color-coded. The structure is mesh-based, which provides additional stability. Once the level is completed, the tracks will run smoothly and as they should. The electronics in each set add some noise and light to the tracks - our 2 year old loves these areas the most but she also loves sending balls down the finished tracks her sister built. These are toys that both children can enjoy together.
