New Balance's roomy shoes ensure the right fit, and we're grateful for that. Bought these for my 9 year old (who is not picky about shoes) and after the first week they looked like they were 4 months old: unkempt. The tread on the outsole is solid, but the upper looks terrible and wears out quickly. the top layer (fabric) of the insole (insole) came loose after 4 weeks. My kid doesn't even wear them every day. He's not impressed with them and neither am I. Very disappointed and not recommended unless you can get them CHEAP.
