It is best to shake well before drinking, add some water after drinking and shake again briefly to loosen most of the substance from the walls of the cup. The taste is neutral. This is neither good nor bad. Very gritty and plant-based, but for something high in fiber and protein, it makes sense. It only helps to hide it or confuse it with other things.
