I'm a winter girl and I can't stand the heat and humidity. I've got one that's on my neck, but that's not enough for me in the miserable months of July and August. So I have that in my wallet as a backup. Unless you're a city worker working outside in the sun, it's difficult to close your pants as intended. It's very unwieldy and I don't see any women strapping it to their pants. Hanging it around your neck with a strap is also inconvenient. I tried it and it was like a huge army class and the ugliest neckless ever. It will bounce on your chest making it impossible to walk with it. The best use I've found for it is to put it on a table where I need to sit and cool off, or hold it in my hand and bring it to my face and neck. So if you're looking for a hands-free option, this isn't it. Its construction is quite strong and durable.
