One of the main advantages of USB-C is its compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 (it's the same connector). Unfortunately, when I insert the USB-C connector into my MacBook Pro, you have to push it a little. The worst thing about this cable, however, is that you actually have to pull on it to disconnect. I can see it's only a matter of time before that little metal connector falls apart and gets stuck in the Thunderbolt 3 connector. One of the key design features of Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C is that it's easy to connect. Input and output (i.e. there is no wrong way to connect it like USB-1/2/3). I've used other types of USB-C cables with my MacBook Pro and none have been as tight as this one. I'm a bit disappointed. I mean, did they make a small cable and didn't test it with a MacBook with Thunderbolt 3? This is probably why most people buy this cable.
