Bought this head to replace an aging and leaking Hansgrohe model that came with my house. The Clubmaster hand shower has three jet types: standard needle, pulsating and champagne. Unlike poorly made shower heads that only spray in a ring or circle, the Clubmaster sprays a full spray circle. The pulsating jet is great when you want a massage or need extra power to cleanse those private areas. I don't use a champagne spout as it seems pointless to me. My hand held shower was fitted with a 2.5 GPM flow restrictor which reduced performance significantly. With a small screwdriver or needle nose pliers, it was easy to remove the shower head and get full power. At full speed it runs about 5 gallons per minute. I don't use very high water pressure and I'm good at 3 to 4 gallons per minute. I connected my hand shower to a Grohe Duralife 28 145 000 79" metal shower hose. The Grohe metal shower hose is much better than the similar Hansgrohe model. Grohe is all metal and about 10 inches longer (that's a big difference). The ends of the Connectors are knurled so you can hold them better than a smooth Hansgrohe surface, and those who don't get it now will understand if you try to pull the hose off with wet hands or after the connector has become a little stuck due to age.
