After years of hard work with butt end connectors I decided to give these a try. MY GOD! What a relief. I had no trouble making my first cable and didn't have to worry about missing a touch or breaking a circuit. I terminated both ends and used my tester to test the circuit. Perfect! I strip away more shielding and trim excess wires when the connector is complete. I use a good RJ45 crimping tool (I have three and they all work fine) and haven't had any problems. Once my last closed end connectors are used up I will use them. I've tried them with CAT5, 6, and 6E cables with no problems.
