Review on EAZ LIFT 48860 Telescopic Jack by Kevin Cole

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Strong bushings, helped a lot with the rebound! Be sure to buy thread lubricant!

Update December 2018: still cool! Three months of continuous use, everything is fine. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND the use of grease on the threads of these and all screw jacks. They work much better with lubrication, including a small lip under the top support pad to allow the jack post to rotate freely under the support pad. fix something too. Worked great! The test will work, but I believe in redundancy for safety. The top adjustment pins are there for support and while they can lift your van on their own they are best used to avoid bouncing and the top adjustment works well although it looks wobbly with no load. I wouldn't support anything ONLY with these jacks in the up position for stability reasons, but they will be fine providing partial support at max height. Original review September 2018: I am very happy that I bought two pairs of these sockets. Kickstands, they helped a lot with the rebound I experienced when walking or when someone else was walking in the van. I can even feel the difference between walking, it feels more solid, like a real foundation. I have a 35ft Keystone Montana and have replaced the jacks behind the rear axle and another pair halfway between the front and back of the RV. I uploaded a video to show what they are. They looked better than the little aluminum model that Camco also makes, and EACH is priced at £6,000. I won't do it, but theoretically they could carry the whole camper by themselves. They feel a little "loose" when fully extended, but I don't see the need to use that top pin. The internal screw regulates a lot. Between that and the X-Chocks I just want to harden my Superslide and remove some wobble over the kingpin and for that I get a Strong Arm Kit or something similar.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
