All other USB ports have stopped working
My computer now has three USB ports. I bought this so I have seven. However, when I plugged it in, all of my other USB ports stopped working, leaving me with only four working ports from the device. When I only connected the mouse and keyboard, my keyboard stopped working at times. The instructions state that "connected devices must not exceed a total current of 900 mA". They show that the mouse draws about 100mA, the camera 300mA, the keyboard 500mA and the external hard drive 900mA. So with only a mouse and keyboard connected, it still didn't work. To return!
