To connect your phone to the camera, connect via Bluetooth first, then wait about 20 seconds patiently, the camera will appear in the Wi-Fi network list, then connect via WiFi. It's easier to change settings and view photos/videos on a mobile phone or tablet than on a small device screen. Uploading pictures/videos is very easy. The device's screen is small, but the image and text are clear and you can scroll through the settings. It's true that even NiMH batteries don't last very long if you take a lot of pictures/videos over several days. I haven't tried alkaline batteries yet.
