The first few times I started with basic clippers and it worked, but then I found this product. Great price for the whole haircut kit. I especially like thinning scissors. Trying to blend the sides with the top is very difficult unless you're a pro (which I'm not). The thinning scissors included in this set make shading incredibly easy. Scissors, combs and other accessories are also good. The scissors are just as good as the pair I bought for the same price as this whole set. I think there is only one part of this product that could be improved. The cloak is very thin cheap material. I wish they would provide a better quality raincoat even if they had to charge another $5. Another option would be to just rule it out. However, it gets the job done and keeps your shirt from getting hairy. All in all a great product for the home hairdresser!
