I'm an engineer and I appreciate the workmanship, there are some very good things about these chisels and a few things I would say picky, not so good. Firstly, straight out of the storage case provided, the quality of the chrome vanadium steel and the sharpness of these chisels are generally good, time will tell if they hold a sharp edge, but the workmanship and finish of the steel components is good. The case as a whole is also good but as can be seen in the picture and as others have mentioned one of the chisel holders in the case was broken when I received this item. It's no problem, I used some non-foaming Gorilla Clear Glue and fixed it, no problem. Maybe a little more glue or maybe a little more packaging material could have prevented that. In my opinion it's actually good to have a case and when the case has been repaired it holds the chisels pretty well for carrying. Now for the other thing I don't really like that has nothing to do with functionality, it's purely aesthetic. The handles on these chisels are made of wood and while I understand that there are many variations of wood and no two handles will look alike, at least make them out of the same wood. Yes, it's a little picky, but this is my review and I would have preferred something more consistent. Are the chisels well made yes I think I like them aesthetically well not really but they will work great I am sure. I look forward to trying them out on my next woodworking project.
