So bought for two reasons: privacy and sun protection. I didn't buy them to ride, although I was curious if it's possible. Since none of my windows were tinted, it still wasn't safe for me to drive it. There are creases on the fabric (I drive a small compact, so the windows are smaller, so maybe that's why?) It's hard to see because of that. However, these two superimposed suction cups make it difficult to look inside, especially from a distance, but at the same time allow me to look outside. I would like to keep the windows open. In general, I bought two pieces for each window, and every day I stick them on each window when I get out of the car. During my lunch break in the arid California desert, the car keeps a much better temperature and gives me a bit of privacy.
