I turned 31 this month and have used Jansport throughout my high school career into adulthood. I'm using my last Jansport backpack which I've had daily since high school, that's 2003. Previously the back pocket wasn't anywhere near her last legs but recently there was a small hole in the front smallest pocket that I got something through lost which prompted me to look for a replacement, love this backpack. Do not throw away. Now let's talk about it, the design seems good, fits all my gear, looks and feels sturdy, will probably last as long, but who did they make these straps for? Backpacks are available in children's and adult sizes? I have to dislocate my shoulders to get my arm through and then when it's over my shoulders the top hangs about 8 inches off my back so I have to tug on the straps to make it feel and look normal while walking. , and it sits pretty high on my back, is that thing with a drawstring strap always meant to be carried on backpacks? My old bag was discontinued and forgotten, I can slip it off my back and then immediately put it back on without adjusting. This new bag isn't the most comfortable thing in the world, I'm pretty sure it wasn't intended for a person over 6ft.
