I used to love my old Beautyrest electric blanket but this is the worst electric blanket I've ever had. It's not very good at warming up, especially preheating, but that's nowhere near the worst. The plush material it's made of may be soft and silky, but that's what makes it special. When you wake up in the morning you never know where this blanket will be. The top sheet might be perfect where you expect it to be, but no electric blanket. It could be half or more on the ground and you have no idea how it got there. When the bed is made and you sit on it to put on your shoes or something else, you may need to make the bed again because the blanket is slippery under the duvet or bedspread. It doesn't need to be that slippery and I have no idea why they made it that way. I returned it within a week.
