Review on LED Strip Lights Waterproof Controller by Julia Lewis

Please read before purchasing. I'm a science teacher and I wanted to do color mixing with interlaced RGB LEDs on a strip, which is what this product shows in several photos. It does NOT light up like that, just one color, although it does all the colors on the remote (except WHITE, read on) (just not alternating different colors, which is what I was looking for). When I pressed the W key to light up WHITE (which should light up all 3 colors of RG and B), only RED and GREEN lighted up, making the white option impossible. Pooh. The band has a transparent rubberized finish, so I'm guessing they're probably waterproof. I was able to connect the three strips separately so they glow the way I want them to. There is NO power adapter included, but you can make a simple one using a 9V battery and a 9V battery connector and then twist/join/solder the wires. It's another extra step, but it works.
