I bought these thinking I could use them to clean glasses and jewelry and they turned out to be useless for cleaning both . They are stiffer than other microfiber towels and I think the company sees this as a plus because they are "firmer" and they feel they are of higher quality. That doesn't mean they clean better. There is a brand called Clean & Clear that makes great eyeglass cleaning wipes and they are the best I have come across. Stitched seams along the edges for reinforcement. They're thick, but not so thick that they interfere with function. I still haven't found any good inexpensive cloths to clean my jewelry so I think the search will continue. I have returned these wipes for a refund.
