I love my 4x4 station wagon. They said it was a universal car. For me that would be true if I could see better in the dark. The OE headlights are so dim that sometimes I have to check the headlight icon on the dash to make sure it's on. streets ahead of me. After comparing about a dozen light bulbs including several high power halogens, several HIDs and 2 types of rare LEDs, I settled on this pair of Alla LED headlights. I was bothered by those blue headlights, which often blinded me. So I don't want to dazzle other drivers with those tall K headlights, 6500K should be fine. Based on previous reviews, installation does not require a professional mechanic certificate. The price is about twice that of normal lamps. However, LEDs must have an ultra-long lifespan. Maybe it really is cheaper to operate. Just take a look. Out of the Box A pair of sponges surrounded by well protected great lights and some instructions or whatever I didn't bother to read packed in an attractive box. To me, it's as good as any Valentine's Day gift. Maybe my wife wouldn't agree. The candles look very nice. They look high tech. I suddenly felt like $59.99 didn't hurt me so much anymore. You would understand what I mean if you look at the photo I post comparing the OEM light and this light. Installation5 minutes! Next time it would take less than 1 minute if I had a finished screwdriver in my hand. No, I'm not a mechanic. I'm an ordinary person who makes something with my own hands from time to time. It's as easy as replacing a household lightbulb! You will need a screwdriver to insert it into the headlight socket. This way you can pull out the old lightbulb. Rotate the bulb approximately 45 degrees to pull it out of the headlamp housing. Plug the new flashlight's post plug into the socket on the power cord. Make sure the small bump on the plug is on the same side as the slot on the jack. Insert the new lamp into the housing. Rotate 45 degrees clockwise until it stops. Voila! Finished! BrightnessWow! I don't know how much brighter it is than my standard headlamp which is only a month old. Finally I can see everything on the street. Not only is it much brighter, its coverage is much larger than that of the standard light. The big difference is blaming me for waiting too long. I was supposed to replace the lightbulbs the same week after I received my new car. Noise Each headlight has a fan. It makes a kind of buzzing sound. Audible but not annoying when idling. You don't notice it on the street. Low Light Cutoff Slightly higher than OEM. Maybe it's okay. If not, then I would adjust it a bit. Again, no mechanic certificate is required. ConclusionVery satisfied! I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. Update 2/1/17 I was a little concerned about the whiteness of the light emitted by the bulbs. I wasn't sure how it would perform in thick fog. Maybe the fog won't penetrate? Last night we had thick fog on Long Island. The lights worked very well. I had no trouble seeing through the fog. Wonderful! The coverage area of this pair of LED bulbs is much wider than OEM bulbs. I have found that it is no longer necessary to use the fog/turn signals on my station wagon. My fog lights have a dual purpose. One side turns on to illuminate the side I'm facing. It used to be very helpful. don't need anymore LED lights already covered both sides all the time. I'm much less likely to run into a small animal or child running off the curb into my lane in the dark.
