When I was remodeling our upstairs bathroom last winter, I had to rip off the old baseboard thermal covers to install new tiles. The heat pipe brackets also had to be removed. After the tiles were laid, I didn't know how to support the pipes under the new baseboard covers. These brackets turned out to be the perfect answer. I couldn't find anything that suited my needs at any of the major hardware stores. I clamped these stainless steel brackets around the pipes with the flanged end down and the bracket acts like a socket. I simply adjusted the threaded rod until the base was on the tiled floor and adjusted until the tube was level. I then used a lock nut to keep them from changing. It worked great.
