The sound from the speaker is very sharp and clear. I love the open cup design on the side of the speaker so I can play game sounds on my living room audio system. I like the glasses-friendly design of the speaker shell. This is a great feature. No one has complained that I am hard to hear so the mic must be better than the last headset I had as my voice is pretty quiet. There's a little black foam padding on the non-speaker side, but it's quite firm for my liking. The bandage on the top of my head is sometimes so tight that my head hurts and I have to remove it from time to time to rest. As for the headband, I'm not sure what to do. It appears to have been bent into a small circle while in the small box it came in. Maybe I can find a box about as wide as my head and store the headset in that box when I'm not using it. Perhaps this stretches the plastic headband and makes it more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I regularly play 2-3 hours when playing online with friends. After about 1.5 hours the tightness of the headband starts to bother me, after that I have to take breaks here and there.
