I would highly recommend every Victorinox product that I have owned or used. Feel and use a quality product. This multi tool was bought to replace a smaller version from another manufacturer that also has nail clippers but has never been able to trim my thumbnails except with very very heavy compression. So it was nothing more than a toy with a knife blade so small that the inspectors in the courthouse laughed at me and let me through, allowing me to keep it with me. I wouldn't rely on Victorinox for that. And I expect it to be confiscated by airport security officials. In my view, this is not a negative at all. Just a warning to anyone purchasing this item that you must keep it or place it in your checked baggage. Some reviewers complained that it lacked a screwdriver blade. I share that regret, but if you really need a screwdriver in your pocket all the time, you can either buy another product, swap out the nail file for this one, or just use the nail file as is, or buy a pocket screwdriver. You must know the dimensions of this gadget and realize that attaching it to a keychain that you usually carry in your pocket can cause problems. (The thickness is almost twice as thick as the one you replaced.) This is especially true if your keychain already has two keychains. Another downside of this product is that the knife loop is at the end, the product connects to the key ring so it gets in the way a bit when using the knife. I don't use it every day but when I need it it's very handy and makes it a reasonable trial size.
