I was going to love this table but I put it together and the perforated metal shelf is completely broken. It has an odd texture but I can live with that. The part that makes this impossible is that the screw holes are too small or the metal is blocking them. I can't get the 3/4 screws in properly. I added a video showing how easy it is for me to put one screw in and how difficult it is for another. I also added photos of the hole blocked by the metal. I'm disappointed because I was looking forward to setting up my home office and this desk is the most important thing. Update - I've been trying to continue building the table because I'm not getting this huge package back - don't know what to do. 12 bar is defective. screw removed. I don't know how many are still broken because I can't continue building the thing. I'm so disappointed I want to cry. I'm just trying to find a place for school and it's a mess.
