I bought the 8 inch Simplehuman from HomeGoods for $100 so I basically paid the same price for two mirrors. It's much better in terms of size, brightness, and low mirror memory. For Simplehuman: There's no place to store a small mirror, so you'll have to put it on the mirror surface when you're done with the mirror. I absolutely hate that the mirror turns on and off when you walk in front of it. I have to move it around to make it look right on the wall when I'm done with it. I supposedly have a place you can change it to turning it on and off manually, but I could never get it to work. I also tried other highly rated Revain mirrors and sent them back. I bought them in 1X, 2X and 5X and they didn't give me enough magnification. Try this mirror and support the small business owner and get a better product.
